This is Caleb from the Pc game BLOOD! One of my most favorite games EVER! Its an older First Person Shooter, similar to Duke Nukem or Doom!
Blood featured zombies and hell like environments. You play as this bad ass Caleb who has just awaken from being killed along with his friends by his former master, Tchernobog! He vows revenge and that's the game's plot! =3
Caleb here is somewhat of an anti hero, in life he was one evil bastard and killed mercilessly for the cult Cabal founded by Tchernobog, a giant demon like creature. In death he is just as sadistic killing innocents caught in the crossfire of his quest for revenge.
In the second game he originally was shown to be a bit different looking than his original counter part, sporting more brown in his attire and looking more like an undead cowboy(which is what he basically was in his youth) but i personally don't care for that look too much nore did lots of people initially. so they made him a little more like this, making it unclear if he still had the long hair or not. personally i looks better with out long hair. in the original he was bald! XD
The creator of the Blood series Jace Hall recently announced last year august that he plans to remake the classic version of blood and release it on all platforms free! So far as of this day, there hasn't been any new developments on this, but i am damn hoping it happens! I can't even imagine how awesome it will be! X3
Ok enough talk, i hope those of you who DO know this character and game like how he turned out! =3 i have plans for a drawing the other 3 Chosen similar to this!

Love the Blood games. Got 1 and 2 years ago, but I just recently got copies of them both with all the expansion packs :D
I noticed the hair discrepancy too - the intro to Blood 1, when Caleb is cast into the grave, his hat flies off, and lo and behold, bald, yet Blood 2, suddenly he has long hair. Personally, I've always imagined him with longish hair, but a somewhat receding hairline, like that of the voodoo doll in the first game.

I love that quote, its funny because i always assumed that Ishmael from Blood 2 was somehow Jojo and low and behold the expansion to Blood 2 explains how at one point in his life he actually was! XD
Supposed its Blood 1 and Blood 2 are distanced by like 100 more years or something, being that in blood 2 he's in the future, so with that said i suppose it makes sense that he'd grow some hair within that time span. But as far as his over all look, i didn't entirely care for how Blood 2 portrayed him, having somewhat long hair would have been more awesome but showing less of it like in the game was definitely a better choice than keeping it like the original art work for Blood 2.
Either way Caleb is quite an awesome character regardless and Blood 1 and 2(mostly 1) is a classic legendary game to me! =3
