Jack is a reaper...and he doesn't tend to like his job too much. Being such a happy and energetic guy, Jack is all about living in the moment and trying to live life to the fullest in anyway you could.
Jack, however, has a job that gets to him from time to time. SInce he's a reaper, he has to reap souls, young and old, innocent and guilty. The most depressing times for Jack are when there are wars, because he feels he should only have to reap a few children, those who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, but he has to reap so many children's souls during wars, it just gets him down.
Naymirri is being a good pretend boyfriend and trying to comfort Jack for the moment.
So Jack is having an emo moment, if you needed advice, you'll have to check back later.
