What sanctuary could contain me?
A gentle wild-fire from the inside out
bound to burn this city down
but what's the trouble's bane?
because nothing is the same,
but I just can't quite guess right
is there any place here today
for me to find and stay
with diamond walls
that line the halls
made so I cannot escape
but who has heard of such a place
i guess it's safe to say
I'm not always stuck this way
some form of home will save my life
and keep my future free from strife
and I, though gently burning, will be free
A gentle wild-fire from the inside out
bound to burn this city down
but what's the trouble's bane?
because nothing is the same,
but I just can't quite guess right
is there any place here today
for me to find and stay
with diamond walls
that line the halls
made so I cannot escape
but who has heard of such a place
i guess it's safe to say
I'm not always stuck this way
some form of home will save my life
and keep my future free from strife
and I, though gently burning, will be free

I like this, it's one of those one's you can read and take a couple different ways, to take a different breath on and see what the writer may mean.
It is in first person though, so I found it hard to relate with your writing on my own personal note. Though, it does make me curious as to the prose behind the poetry. Your own relations to this.

Thanks. I appreciate your feedback. Well, I have that habit of lashing out on people unexpectedly based on something that has nothing to do with them. I'm afraid of it, really. It's only when I'm not able to vent my feelings properly. The poem is all revolving around a sense of whether it is best to isolate yourself or not, which is an emotion that had come up quite frequently. It also is a statement of how somethings will change over time and that it can always just be a phase. "and I, though gently burning, will be free" is basically saying that, I will always have a time where I lash out, but I know that it's not who I am to be aggressive or violent and that there is hope to stopping it. So basically, it's all based on the line between giving up and having faith.
