Scavanger hunt-- Normally during the camps activities there is at least one full day scavenger hunt(normally done middle of second week),This is one of the most dangerous for the freebies because of the solo nature of it. The items required sometimes are stated obviously, and sometimes are hidden behind a clue, and oftentimes are up to using your mind to explain WHY an item fits. At camp center a huge board is listed with the various items that need to be recovered, some easy, some hard, and some quite tricky(A predators fur for example,) Basic things like certain flowers, bugs in jars and so on are pretty normal. Likewise taking photos of various landmarks is a classic, though OTHER photo oriented ones are very common as well. A “insert species here” underpants are rather more..invasive blush inducing.. There are some that are obviously traps to turn folks against each other. Less very cleverly handled(most don't risk finding “Skull of a camper” for example). At 9pm sharp everyone must have collected all there items(Or stolen from other campers) and present them for inspection...publicly.. most of the items are given a cursory glance and tallied up, (And many campers don't even bother if they've not done well), but some are inspected with an uncomfortably critical eye. Especially when put on the projection screen for some of the photo oriented ones.(two guys humping) and can get many many accusing glares and screams as well. Something like Gallows eating someone is very tricky as well...but someone normally gets it The top three winners of the hunt will get prizes..and plenty information given to them privately.. it makes winning quite a focus for those who want to survive. Thus far NO one who's won the hunt has ended up digested by the end of the camp.(Sure its only a few days but still.)
