"Hold on, to me as we go
As we roll down this unfamiliar road
And although this wave is stringing us along
Just know you’re not alone
Cause I’m gonna make this place your home
Settle down, it'll all be clear
Don't pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble it might drag you down
If you get lost, you can always be found
Just know you’re not alone
Cause I’m going to make this place your home."

I don't know what it is about this song, but every time I hear it on the radio I just visualize family. I don't know what the song is truly about, but just the tone of it makes this warm fuzzy, happy family feeling in my chest. Also it makes me want to roll around in grass and take a nap. Except I wouldn't really do that because I don't want to get ticks and get a disease and die.
But to the pic! Little Linda and her daddy, George. <3 Linda is definitely a daddy's girl, no doubt about it (even as an adult). I like to think George was one of those dads that always wanted a girl. I can't really imagine him having a good relationship with a son, dunno what it is. He was a bit older when he and his wife had Linda (he was human equivalent of 30) and he attached to her pretty much the moment she was born. George also used to be really into the outdoors (unlike in the present where he's a hermit) and he took Linda with him a lot. Which had its pros and cons. It was good because that was their bonding time and he got the chance to tell her about the world and all that, but bad because Linda was one of those kids who likes to run off doing every single thing you're not supposed to, like leaping into rivers and climbing on rocks and poking beehives and trying to pet wild Grizzly Bears. And seeing as how "safety oriented" and paranoid George is, she probably gave him a heart attack on a regular basis.
Also, fun fact, when Linda was little, her forehead sensors actually went backward. As she aged they started to fall down in her face and her parents, mom in particular, constantly brushed them back. Eventually Linda just stopped bothering with them and let them droop. So that's why she has them now! And also why she only has one sensor in her face here and why she has 4 instead of 3 neck ones here.

Ahaha, actually, they aren't teeth at all! The species is semi-robotic, and their mouths are a paneled grid, the lines being open slits called vents, which they breath with. Their "mouths" don't have the ability to open/close cause, well, they technically don't have mouths at all! Coincidentally, they give off the illusion of a big crazy smile! Funny, huh? C:
