And here are the both of them.
Joy is a ragdoll mix and is currently seven months old. A ragdoll is a cross between a Persian, a Siamese, a Maine coon, and a few other cats to create a very calm, loving, and friendly breed of cat. I think her Siamese heritage shows up the most in her facial structure and those beautiful crystal blue eyes of hers. She is also showing her Maine Coon heritage by her size. At seven months old she is already a very large cat and still has five months growth left!
Mugsy is a black tabby that we rescued from the local animal shelter. He was the only male in a litter of abandoned kittens and we got him when he was two months old. He is currently fourteen weeks old and is a perfect counterpart to the mellow Joy. He plays crazily without being destructive although he is still very much a kitten. Still, he is having more and more calmer moments and will snuggle and cuddle with you when he's in the mood. He particularly likes to cuddle with Uriel and just as Joy is 'my' cat, Mugsy is Uriel's cat,
One thing I point out to people is that you know that the kitten's name is Mugsy because he has that 'M' in the middle of his forehead. HE also has huge paws and if he grows into them he will be just as big if not bigger than Joy.
Those are our kitties! I was playing with the hipstamatic filter.
