this is from 1989...you can tell I had been watching that Speed Racer and Star Blazers stuff, even then. It wasn't until 5 years later that I even knew about Project A-Kon. I would have donated a liver to have seen the Dirty Pair cosplayers that year...O the hawtness. But I didn't know what Dirty Pair was at that time. And 10 years before, I didn't know what rock n' roll was. GF
