I try to show emotion
But when I do I get yelled at
By the ones I love
The ones I hold close to my heart
It’s like I don’t matter
I’m just a carpet to be walked on
A greeting mat at the door for pain
So while I sit here and cry
People just enjoy themselves
I watch as they play
They meet up and smile
They have a good time
I see it through pictures
Through videos and text
While I just sit at home
What do I want?
Happiness
That one word
I want a mate who talks to me
I want family who pays attention to me
I want to have fun
And just be cared for
Again I try
But it doesn’t feel like anyone pays attention
