Watchers Giveaway Prize - 2/10

And here's the second Watchers Giveaway prize! FelisRandomis won this prize, but she gifted it to her sister, SoulShelter. The character is SoulShelter's awesome bee anthro, Abbie.

Anyway, the prize was supposed to be a loosely painted character vignette, but I bumped it up to a detailed vignette because I *love* insect characters. Absolutely love them. I really wish that people would ask me to draw them more often.

Yeah, I'm still playing around with my style. I think I'm going to try out some new stuff and see what works until I find something that I'm happy with. This time, I went with an art deco look for the character and background (mostly the background). The high-contrast shading was partially inspired by Tamara de Lempicka's work, though I did take a *ton* of liberties with it. I don't think I'd shade like this again, but I might try using geometric backgrounds again -- who knows?
