Tiger Head

So I am trying out Foam this time, and I think I like it the best. it's easiest to manipulate and very quickly assembled. I did all this work last night, (like 3 hours or so) and I only got a little bit more trimming and such before I need to start with the eyes and teeth.
I think I'm gonna stick with the foam heads from now on.

How do you shape/trim the foam? I've tried using foam a few times with no luck...

I use a pair of precision scissors, and I slowly shave it back to form.

mmmmmm that's sexy. what kind of foam did you use for this? I'm curious, since I was intending to make a head from foam next anyway, and I'd like to know what to purchase. ^_^

I bet that's really lightweight too

It's the same type of foam that you can use for bed padding. almost like memory foam but a little less squishy. you cam buy it fairly cheap at wal-nuts...I mean wal-mart.
