Peter's Punishment

First of all,I don't hate Family Guy, but if Thron was going to eat Brian, then you knew he was going to eat Peter. Out of all the chracters that deserve to be punished is him. As Thorn said, there is nothing redemable about him. Not one thing. You could argue and say he loves his family*Stops typing and laughs out loud real quick* Yeah.......right.
Peter is simply ignorance incarnate. To say he was mentally challenged would be an insault. HE"S AN IDIOT!!!! He is responsible for about 80% of the diasters that hit Quahog and it's always for a stupid reason. Even when there is danger right in front of him he won't know it, if anything he will make a bad situation 10 times worst at the least. What's worst is that he is never once punished for his misdeeds, that he PURPOSELY did. He endangers his family and friends on a daily bases and has become so destructive that he even puts Homer to shame, and that's saying something. The closes I can say to him being punished severely was when Brian was High and envisioned Hell. Peter was being roasted like a pig, but it didn't really happen so it does not count. Even though Peter is the main character, more or less, even he is not above reprouch. Now he shall become belly fat for the Mad reaper, that's all he's good for now.

Well I woudnt say more pleasant than Peter cause I think peter isnt really of any ill nature despite the idiotic stunts that puts his family at risk. But yeah quagmire is a nice guy.

Yeah, Quagmire is better than Peter in a good dozen ways. He did gave Peter his share of his investment back even after being a greedy jerk to him after winning the lotto.... and he does work in a soup kitchen...
But then again... he is a rapist... who actually seem to give Meg good relationship advice rather than just make fun of her..... take up with the fickle wirtiers

What about all the times he got his childern hurt or just be a jerk to them. Like how Meg saved his life from a puma with first aid but never thanked her? Or how he bought an X-Box to buy his kids' acceptance after he admits he never like being with them, only to hog it before they could play with it? What about all the times he made Lois feel ugly by saying she is old? Or the time he accidentally killed Quagmire's pet cat in a form of a prank, buried it, only to tell his friend what he did after he offered a money reward, took it, and then slammed the door in his face with no feeling of regret or remorse?
Peter's mentally retarded. Which basically means he has the mind of a 4 year old. He does not really know the extent of his actions or the repercussions it causes, which explains the crazy antics he does and the juvenile attitude he puts out half the time. He basically doesn't know right from wrong despite being 40.
Plus there have been tons of times where he fixed the mistakes that he caused all for the love of his family. Like when he saved christmas for Lois, or when he tried to patch things up with Carter and Babs, or saved his family from a post apocalypse, etc.
So yeah he is not the most perfect adult, and probably deserves some of the things that he has caused others. But for the most part I think he generally means well, despite being a reckless idiot.
How else do you think Lois puts up with him?

... you did notice all the martial jokes between Lois and Peter in last Sunday's episode, right? Peter did got injected with a "gay gene" and pretty much left the woman who put up and help him through tough spots with all the 3 kids and no means of fiance....
Plus, it's really getting harder to tell if pretty means half the stuff he does by ignorance or just abusing his handicap as a "get of jail card", you know, like how he did most of the episode when he found out he mentally challenged up until he learns that his actions would make him loose his kids.... which he hardly takes care of at all.... and then there was the time one of the opening dancers comes out pregant, basically saying Peter had an affair, to which he has the woman escorted off the show while dodging punishment.... he knew what he did was wrong and got away with it....
