Customer's Shadowrun character, Kitsu. They described him as a thin, almost gaunt nisei/African-American with some visual cues from the Afro Samurai, *plus* a cybernetic fox tail and a fox-inspired manifestation whenever he cut loose with a spell, in this case Flamethrower. (He's a fire specialist.) They also asked if I could include suggestions of an urban background like a wall with some graffiti (the big graffiti there is the Russian for "Cool!"). In retrospect I should have played more with a shadow cast on the wall.
I mean, how often do you get to draw characters like that?

Kitsu is actually a completely un-Awakened character, who happens to be the willing vessel to a kitsune spirit. they're an odd team. He's had a few different incarnations, as a marvel heroes character, as a 3.5 shadowrun character. his latest incarnation for SR4 has him a little too min-maxed, but i needed to use him as an NPC to fill in some gaps when we lost our Hacker and our Mage.
One suggestion on this, it didn't immediately register that the character was standing in front of graffiti on a wall. Maybe add something to suggest wall texture, like occassional seams in the brickwork or crosshatching to suggest bricks (like T shape things where the mortar would be maybe?)
