I've finished to coloring in July, last year, but I've left it. It was revived by painting shadow, highlight and background, with the my newest technology W.

He named Raika(雷火, 雷=thunder, lightning or thunderbolt, 火=fire). He is Soramako(空魔狐, 空=sky) which has tha capability to manipulate the weather.
He is able to manipulate general powers called weather...such as thunder, wind, rain, hail or snow.(In a sense, he may be the strongest Mako...)
The motif of Soramako is certain Japanese cryptid, called Raijuu(雷獣, 雷=thunder, 獣=beast). And he has the capability to move a long distance in an instant by riding on thunder.
At first, I planned to paint black zigzag designs to his body. But because it was troublesome(to paint), it was omitted(←hey!
But it looks like Jolteon if it colored in only yellow and white... Is it too cheap idea that thunder=yellow... The color of real thunder is commonly blue, isn't it...(--;
At the start, the name of this character was just "Raijuu" and it was a character unconnected to Makos(and has a quite different appearance). But it was rejected all too easily...
Then remote future from that time(but about two years), the vacant post of Soramako occurred when I developed Makos.
Since it was a rare opportunity, I thought of using Raijuu...and arranged it in the style of Mako. So, it became like this(←why(-_-;
There were associations that Sky→Weather→Thunder(seems to be strong). But, I knew that Indra(a deity of the sky and the thunder) who appears in Indian myth was so, when I studied later... Were these associations also cheap!!??

And, he is the one of the three leading roles that appear in my Mako-novels. He is a character like a reliable big brother watching over other two warmly.
I'm planning to draw other two Makos sometime W.

By the way..., fire, water, wind, ground, and sky... This completes "Five Elements" by adding the other Makos!

Incidentally, Mako is designed usually with two motifs, the certain fox in the desert of Africa, and the other thing connected with their each colors(=manipulatable things).
(Raiten(wind)=feather, Harou(water)=otter, Gouen(fire)=flame. Though it is said that Raika's motif is Raijuu, that is surely clouds... )
