Sincerely sensational stir-fry from the kitchens of
tannertokage
Been a while since I posted up any of my food. I wouldn't say this is authentically Korean, but I did use Korean ingredients.
You will need:
-2 packets of Nong Shim Ramyun noodles.
-Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
-Kimchi
-Eggs (scrambled)
-Chicken chunks
-Soy sauce
-Salt
-Green onions
-Cooking oil
Add hot water to the noodles without the flavor packet. Drain and set in the freezer to quickly chill it for about a half an hour before moving to the fridge for at least an hour. (the noodles need to be cold so they don't stick if you use a carbon steel wok like I did) When you're ready to start, cook up the scrambled eggs and moving them to a separate bowl. Add some oil to the pan and throw in the noodles. Toss until they loosen up before adding the soy sauce and just one of the two flavor packets. (Nong shim ramyun also comes with a pack of freeze-dried vegetables)
Throw in the Kimchi, eggs, and chicken chunks before tossing some more and then add the green onions. Finally, add a glob of gochujang chili paste and a little extra salt. Toss until fully combined.
If you're using a wok, don't stop for too long and keep tossing that stir fry!
Enjoy!
If you can't find gochujang anywhere in your town, as was the case for me, this is the brand I ordered online. http://www.ezionmarket.com/encatego.....te-2-2lbs.html
