He looks great and determined.
Almost like he's just about to leave the teenage years of a lion (however long/short that is). It's like he's thinking:
Step 1) Kill Scar
Step 2) Make a kill to survive
Step 3) Mate with all the lioness' in heat
Step 4) Protect the Pride Lands
Step 5) Repeat steps 2 - 5 as needed or as often as possible.
