Drawing I made inspired by the song.
I´ve also been experimenting with a couple of new tools, to step away as much as I can from the airbrush tool... which I´ve been using for most everything so far.
This is a modified watercolor and brush tool, with small usage of airbrush tool here for the effects.

And her being softer and the wires and such being harder is actually exactly what I was going for. I wanted to have the focus mainly on the wires and only have her emerge slightly from behind them in the light. I guess it symbolizes her recharging period or such, maybe that she´s weak now.
But I can understand completely that it doesn´t really seem to fit. I´ll try and keep a better eye on that when I try something like this next.

Ah, okay. Hehe, just giving you my honest thoughts about it ^^
I do love the idea of focusing on the life support she has to recharge by. But I personally would have done it also with playing around the light aspects. And also putting her in a smaller form compared the the wires. Maybe showing the actuall machine next to her with her sitting in the dark, small corners, out of focuse and everything in a cold light brings that 'weak' position a lot better to show.
