I know this won't win a thing, but it makes me happy and thus the basis for why I love it.

Umm...
Christmas for my family has always been most about the birth of Jesus. The Nativity Story also influenced this (if you're a Christian and you haven't seen it, go rent it now! It's a sweet, different look at the story of Christmas), hence the look of the two.

Why I made them the animals they are:
Mary - Lamb/Goat - I love lambs. I love goats.
Joseph - Goat/small part Lion - Goat simply because I LOVELOVELOVELOVE goats. A teensy eensy weensy bit lion because he has a small bit of David's bloodline and I'd think David to be a lion.
Jesus - Lamb - Besides the symbolic meaning. Jesus was, on earth, someone whom had nothing special about his appearance - he had nothing outward to draw others to him. Thus, a lamb, and a sand-colored one.

I found the sketch of this while I was starting to ink Hazard's bookmark XD So I finished this. FOUR HOURS AUUUGH *dies*
