Actually, Danaume is your standard mad genius. Brilliant from birth, and prone to testing before assessing the risks. Her scientific colleagues have nicknamed her Glitch, because while her functional discoveries are game changing, nine out of ten experiments end in catastrophic failure. She is the founder of my fictional company, Karmatic Occlusions Technologies, or K. O. Tech for short. My gallery has a number of her inventions in it.

And I think Shane did a FANTASTIC job of capturing one of her experiments in progress!

This is great! I love the debris in the background, the sign of any good budding scientist or engineer. Or was that an attempt at a pot of coffee?

I was into electronics (hence my icon.) I'm quite well acquainted with the smell of "magic smoke". But I've also dabbled with chemistry (e.g. this entry) from time to time.
