Cindy Wolf walks into a Stationary store.
CINDY
Let’s see if they have any writin’ quills here.
She looks around the store and sees different kinds of pens, journal books but she didn’t find what she was looking for.
CINDY
Tarnation. I reckon I best be askin’ someone.
She goes up to the front desk and does not see anybody there.
CINDY
Must be on break or somethin’.
She stands there for a minute. Then a door opens in the storage room and a teenage grey wolf girl comes out. She sees Cindy standing at the front desk.
Wolf Girl
A customer. Finally today’s been a slow day.
She walks to where Cindy is standing.
Wolf Girl
Hi. I’m Heather. Heather Richards. Is there anything I can help you with? I hope I didn’t keep you waiting.
CINDY
No worries. I is here lookin’ for writin’ quills to write in my journal. I looked around and I didn’t see any.
HEATHER
You’re in luck. We got some that came in today.
CINDY
That’s excellent.
HEATHER
The best part is they’re free, because today (pointing to the little sign) it’s free quill day.
CINDY
Great.
HEATHER
I’ll go get them from the back. Give one minute.
Heather walks into the storage room. A minute later she walks out with four quills with different color feathers on top in her hand.
HEATHER
All righty. Here they are. Which one did you want to take?
CINDY
Can I hold them for a sec?
HEATHER
Certainly.
She gives them to Cindy. Cindy looks at the different color quills and tries to which one she likes the best.
CINDY
Them quills look great. I especially like the color on the feathers. Are they real feathers?
HEATHER
Indeed they are. But if you want you can try the feathers out.
CINDY
Try them out on what?
She sees Heather sits down on the stool and she puts both of her white foot paws on the desk. Cindy realizes what she meant starts smiling.
CINDY
Oh I see now.
HEATHER
Go right ahead. I’m very ticklish.
CINDY
What the heck. I’m in a ticklin’ mood so I’ll try (holds the blue feather) one first.
She brushes the blue feather against the arch of Heather’s foot paw and Heather starts laughing. Cindy is amazed. Two minutes later she stops.
CINDY
This one certainly is real. I’ll try the (holds the green feather) green one next.
She tickles Heather’s foot paw with the green feather and Heather is laughing like a hyena.
HEATHER
HA HA YES KEEP TICKLING ME! MAKE HEE HEE ME LAUGH!
CINDY
Okay. I’ll try (holding the yellow feather) the yellow one.
She tickles both Heather’s paws and enjoys hearing her laugh. Finally Cindy picks up the orange feather and she tickles her for four minutes. After that Cindy sees Heather taking deep breathes.
CINDY
I think I’ll take the orange feather.
HEATHER
Groovy (gives her a thumbs up, while still taking deep breathes).
Heather puts her paws and gets up.
CINDY
Well much obliged for your help. I hope you had a good laugh.
HEATHER
I did. Thanks.
Cindy walks to the door, turns, and waves to Heather.
CINDY
Y’all have a great day now. Ya hear?
HEATHER
I will (waves back to her). Thanks again.
Cindy walks out the door.
