This picture is actually a doodle in the margins of my sketchbook I did while writing an apocalyptic story (I've gone and lost my notebook again, so all I have is the original scan of this image).

On the invasion of the Earth by Hellbeasts the local two sons fled back to the family house, desperately hoping their elderly father and defenceless sister had not yet been killed only to find said frail sister raining down fire and curses upon the attacking masses and holding her own quite satisfactarily.

Emily's the sort of well-bred, well-spoken lady who stays unobtrusively out of the way, being immaculately turned out and quietly taking tea with the vicar until something happens. Then her hidden depths come out.
