If he wasn't so hammy and ineffectual, Skeletor would be pretty terrifying. I mean, is he an undead skeleton, or is that actually his face!? If so, what the hell is wrong with his FACE?

Depends on the version.

1980's supposedly that's how his entire race is according to at least one pre-show comic. Then another one "The search for Keldor" pegs him as being transformed into Skeletor through magic.

2000's, Hordak's magic basically turns him into a Lich.

Have you played the Adventure Time video for DS/3DS? Not only is it named "Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?!!" but they actually SING an entire song at the title screen. What is more Adventure Time than Ice King leading Finn and Jake all over Ooo to rescue princess' he made out of their garbage?
