Octopus have the coolest eyes - their pupils are HORIZONTAL no matter what angle the head [or body, or whatever, mantle] is oriented at. Like those toy balls with the eyes in them and you shake the ball all over the damn place but that eye always just stares up at you.

I'm not making this up, am I? I don't think so, I swear to god I read it somewhere reliable. ...But even if it's not true I still like them.
