After meeting his new and unexpected friend the Green Goat Monster (how they met will be explained later), he and his family taught the monster how to do farm work, and after getting the hang of it (and quite fast), he decided to open his own farm, and after getting the supplies he needed from Poppawolf, he got that farm. Every week Joey will come by at his friend's place to work and play with the monster, and he couldn't be any happier.
