Thank you! I tried very hard to be accurate, as I believe anything less would make this cultural appropriation, rather than respectful creative expression. Ganesh is probably one of my favorite gods out of any pantheon, and the only non-Norse deity to push his way into my personal practice. :)
I like Ganesha. A man depicted with the head of an elephant. But i wonder, does he have elephant skin and tail?
I searched hundreds of Google images and it appears to me that he has never been depicted with a tail. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. I mean, maybe Hindus spend so much time worshipping his front side, that nobody pays attention to his back side.
I know better than to blasphemise the gods, but I think an elephant tail would look good on Ganesha.
