We were on the trail for only 1.5-2 hours that day. The rest of our time at the Gunflint was spent snowshoeing and hanging out in our cabin playing games with friends, eating and drinking. :)
There was sadly little trail for us to use for skijoring. One bit was technically a snowshoe trail, which had hills and turns too steep for getting up any serious speed while skiing. The dogsled trail was better, but had its own challenges in places.
