I'm having trouble with my newest picture, so I thought I'd fill this out instead. Woo. \o/

At the beginning of 2012, I vowed to learn more about human anatomy and draw more humans. I kept up with that at the beginning of the year, but it kinda went by the wayside later on. Oops. :/ However, despite my setback on humans, I'm still proud that I made enough artwork this year to fill out the whole meme! In previous years, I probably would have had artwork for 2-3 months and that would have been it. It's all about sitting down and really *working* on it, people. :)

Things I want to work on:
-Humans! (again)
-Anatomy in general (mostly human anatomy).
-Make my style more recognizable! I know that style happens naturally and isn't something you can force, but I would like to branch out and try out new art styles this year.
-Interior pictures.
-More realistic gestures and facial expressions.
-Too many happy faces! I need to draw other expressions!
-Make my artwork reflect my current interests better. I feel like I'm still drawing the stuff I liked back in 2007. :/
-Mechanical items/characters.
-Simplify! Too many random brush strokes!
-Learn more about composition and staging.
-Somehow make money from art? (Yeah, right. Never gonna happen, man. Pipe dream go! >> )
-Draw my own (human) characters more.
-Less artwork for other people UNLESS it's a commission or a serious trade. I'm tired of making artwork for people and getting nothing in return.
-Less artwork next year in general? I need to focus on more important life stuff instead (especially because I'm not making any money from art).

Critiques and feedback on how I could improve and meet my yearly goals would be wonderful. <3 Please only critique if you actually know what you're talking about, though.
