Ecko is a sonic (sound) dragon. She is capable of using echolocation (hence the name Ecko). Her horns are sensors for her echolocation. Ecko is completely dependent on her echolocation because she is blind.

Ecko's coloration is completely in grayscale, representing how she sees the world. Her eyes are a ghostly gray color with a gradient into white the closer to where the pupils should be.

Her echolocation has it's advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are: Capable of seeing even in pitch blackness. She can see as far as sound can travel, giving her "telescopic vision". Being a sound dragon gives her a heightened sense of hearing.
The disadvantages are: Her vision isn't 100% accurate. Because she sees with sound, there is a delay in her vision, even if the delay is a fraction of a second. The delay in her vision becomes greater the farther away she sees. She has a fear of thunder because it overloads her auditory sensors, temporarily blinding her completely. Having a heightened sense of hearing also means that she's sensitive to loud noises.
