Back story on the domesticated skullies: They're really hard to domesticate- fawns must be separated from the parents almost right away if a party is interested in domesticating them. Herds are extremely protective of their young, so this makes any domesticated skullie extremely valuable. As a 'pet', they are excellent as guard animals- they will be extremely protective of their riders/owners. People also pride them on their speed and swiftness on terrain such as snow plains. Their pelt colors often reflect the tribe colors of those who domesticate them.
