On the other hand sith doesn't really HAVE to have a red saber, there are siths with blue sabers, like Asajj Ventress when she was revived, she used blue sabers. XD
I had enough time to compare it to anakin's and the blue Force FX saber is far superior to Darth Vaders with more sound samples, better bright and it looks a lot cooler in pictures. =3
I bought darth's saber aswell, but it was for a friend, who made the cloak for me in return. ^^

Yeah, I know, I know, they don't HAVE to, I just always thought the red ones were more sinister looking. *Laugh* But if there's a tech difference between the two, definitely gotta go with the better one, I agree.
