I can already foresee a swell of people saying "You Traced a Photo!"
I am posting this to prove that I've done no such thing (And I think I've proven by now that I don't really need to do that)
I DID use photographic textures in the other version, but by this I mean "A spot with some shiny skin. I'll put that on his shoulder" and "This strip of hair is nice, this'll go down his chest" etc etc. Lots of photomanip and collage involved.

Actually no I wouldn't...
Looks great, and sorry about that comment thing. I know you'd never do that, I just thought that was a new method of drawing.
As for critique...the only thing I can think of is I have no idea what that thing in the upper right corner is.
I demand more sketches.
As for the sketches here I notice that collar on the right side of the neck again, and the position of the collar to the left of the neck where connect, as I mentioned in the colored version.
I really enjoy seeing the sketches especially the hair and different types of hair textures. I also like the degree of pencil depth you put into the features.
Great expressions you have, you've made alot of progress over the last few years.
