Yes, there are other ways to pay the phone bill, but when the mail doesn't have time to get it there before it's due or if you simply prefer cash, this is your option. Oh, and the system to pay over the phone was irritating and the website simply didn't work(log in button didn't do anything). I wish AT&T had an office in Joplin where I could pay directly and maybe even talk directly to a representative instead of calling India(or wherever). When I switched to cable internet, I gained local customer support and MUCH faster internet than AT&T can provide. </added after feedback was received on 2 sites>
It took longer to decide what would be the first "actual" Ferret Williams comic than it took to create the comic, heh. I'm loving the switch to black and white.
I went through a TON of ideas I've collected over the years. This is one of those ideas that I simply couldn't use for the previous series because ALL bills will be paid electronically when those comics are set. Kenny would never have to WALK somewhere to pay a bill.
Now, if only I had remembered that I already had a comic sketched. I'm pretty sure I already have the next 3 comics already decided, so that might wait a couple more weeks.

Yeah, we always paid in cash, and normally too late to wait for a check to go through the mail system(and possibly bounce). Mail can occasionally be slower than anticipated, too, and they shut off our internet for 3 days because they didn't physically have the money in their hands despite paying it at a loan place the day before it was due(that was the tipping point for switching to cable internet).
I tried to pay the bill over the phone once, but that system was irritating.
The website NEVER worked for paying the bill. It didn't do anything when I clicked the button to log in.
But yeah, it's the only way to pay the AT&T bill with cash. At least with the cable company, we could go to THE CABLE COMPANY to pay the bill. We could even talk directly to a customer service representative in their office. AT&T almost seemed based in India.
