Was inspired by rifles from both  abby- and  igotnuthin and decided to throw in a revamped version of my one my recent-ish rifles.

The platform is chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, essentially an 8mm round, according to its dimensions the diameter of the bullet is 8.5mm. I've been quite a bit under the weather lately so things may not be to par or above like my other models.

I had to stretch the rear of the weapon a bit to fit the longer round and its magazine and to allow for the charging handle to go back enough to chamber the round after ejecting a spent casing. The muzzle break isn't anyhting special but should function well, I also fluted the barrel, normally I don't do this because its usually a pain to make a good looking fluted barrel in sketchup but what I did manage to get will do.

The scope should serve its purpose, its big enough and has enough magnification to it to allow for anything from mid range shooting to long range shooting. The thing I like about the .338 is that its both a anti material round and an anti personell round, though depending on the material you're shooting at it may not have as satisfying as result as using a .50bmg would.

Not entirely sure how many rounds the mag will hold, lets just assume 8 rounds, its a nice rounded number, not too much and not too little.

Honestly can't think of much else to say other than kudos to Abby and Igotnuthin for inspiring me to do something, I'm sick as hell and this little project helped keep me sane for a day or so. Hopefully I can shake what I got, its getting to be quite unbearable. x.x
