Giant Schnauzer Needle Felt
I got needle felting supplies for Christmas :D
This is the first thing I've finished. It was originally supposed to be a cat... but the proportions started looking like a schnauzer.
Since I made it while out of town, it became a very nice travel buddy. I didn't want it to get crushed in a suitcase, so I carried it around as much as possible through the airport and in the rental car. Same thing happened when I crocheted the original green and red stegosaurus, he became my travel buddy.
Not sure what I'll do with this schnauzer yet. Either keep it myself or put it on Etsy? Probably shouldn't sell the very first thing I make. Practice would be good.

I looked all over Etsy for starter kits, but there were a bunch that were fairly expensive and came with all the colors of the rainbow. Most of the stuff I make (or want to make) is made of various browns and greyscale. So I got this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/9739800.....r-kit-just-the
And then picked out some colors separately. :) I actually found some wool roving at Hobby Lobby, too! Of course, I don't have any Hobby Lobbys around me.
