Takes place shortly after Whiplash joined the fleet. Still trying to find her place on the team, shes still suspicious of a group of people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for others for no monetary gain.
Looking for buttons to push with everyone around her, she eventually finds herself out classed, even from most of the humans, whom she heard that where supposed to be physically pathetic.
Its hard for a "Bad ass" as her self who is used to being able to kick-butt and throw her weight around with much bigger opponents is having a hard time adjusting to finding out that she was just in reality a big fish in a very small pond.
Looking for an easy target to take her frustrations out on, she found out that Admiral Vixanna would always back down from confrontation or any slight thrown against her. Whiplash for weeks kept this up. While the Admiral is very timid when it comes to defending herself, she however is very protective about those under her command, so one day when Whiplash went a little to far...
Well Lets just say while normally its not a good thing to piss of a commanding officer, let alone an Admiral in any fleet, its even worse of an idea if that commanding officer is a top level Esper who can toss 400,000 tonne Battle Cruisers around with her mind.
Whiplash is lucky she got out with ONLY a damaged right eye, 8 broken teeth, 4 broken rips, a slight concussion, semi crushed windpipe, a hemorrhaging eardrum, two broken legs, and a damaged left kidney.
Back at her spot in the cafeteria after accepting only the most minimal medical care, the human captain came to see her to see if she was alright and try to convince her to get more medical attention, and tell her that shes lucky shes hasn't been court marshaled. Whiplash feeling shame for the first time in along time maybe in her whole life for disappointing some one, some one whose opinion she might actually respect, tries to chase him off with insults and tough girl act so he doesn't see her Cry.
She doesn't want anyone to see her cry, especially... some one... some one she might l-like... some she may actually respect.
