A somewhat eccentric commission -- as if I get normal ones. The client wanted a gift for a friend and arranged this with me. The original b/w sketch was commissioned earlier and is posted here.

One starts by agreeing to my rates!
They are negotiable downward but only if the job either really agrees with me, or is very simple. But assume that if its a normal job, those are my rates.
Next, you describe what you want. Then the real haggling begins, as I can estimate how much time and effort this will take.
If all is agreed on, I do a rough sketch to submit to you along with my address.
If that meets your needs, you send the money -- International Postal Order is best for me, though I can manage a bank money order too.
When the money arrives, I finish the work.
My starting rate is $100 US.
