Assault Cruisers are the massive workhorses of the Collective Fleet. Blistering with weaponry and armored to the core with dense alloys and powerful defenses, Reapers are, as their name implies, death bringers in the warzone.

The ship, despite its size, is A.I. controlled, and is the largest ship in the Collective Fleet to function as such. It's heavy weight doesn't slow it down much in space, but prevents it from getting too close to a planet's gravity well, as it's sub-light engines are only enough to move it through space.

Reapers are not to be underestimated, and in groups can be devastating. Their lack of a hangar and fighter escort is a serious weakness, so they are often escorted by smaller A.I. controlled frigates to make up for this weakness, brute force is a favored tactic, and rarely is an Assault Cruiser seen alone.
