First off note that I have not recieved the dark brown fur needed to redo the mane where I plan on putting some material in front of the ears.

But I have done some fur shaving in preparation. Reworked the ears to try to make them more lion like.

But the main job is replacing the old eyes. I had used screen mesh for the old eyes but since then have received buckram that should be almost as good on vision.

So the eyes you see are 100% buckram both the whites and iris. Early test shows I still have good vision, and although a solid white shiny surface is preferred for eyes, I'm doing this as an experiment in appearances when using buckram for the white part to see if it looks good enough.

I may have put the dark eyebrows too high up by accident, but still a "surprise" look is not necessarily bad!

It's sad that I cannot show this off at FC2013 convention or any other public event as yet.

I also just noted that I could have made the iris bigger. Lions are nearly the width of the entire eye socket so these appear to be a bit small. But it's optional what I do.
