This is Teddy my sister (by heart)'s pooch. I took the line work from a photo she had on FB and did my best to color him. I think I'll give it a go again when I am more accustomed to SAI.

The watercolor look was unintentional. I am still getting a feel for SAI. I was using the air brush tool at the time. I think I am going to try out each of the tools.

That's how you learn, but I still like the watercolor look, even if it was unintentional.... I know of watercolor artists who work really hard to get that look.

My preferred medium has always been acrylics when it comes to traditional art. Watercolor is completely foreign turf for me.

I love dry brushing, you can get so many shades from one color of paint that way.
