Standing at 5 1/2 inches tall at the tip of his ears, this little Chibi Totoro is just the right size to sneak and wiggle his way into his new family's heart. He is 100% needlefelt, including his little eyes. (I tried to figure out a way to needlefelt "follow-me" eyes; it was partially successful.)

This little guy is part of a set that was commissioned for Christmas; when the commissioner asked me to make a set of plushes based on Hayao Miyazaki's film "My Neighbor Totoro" I was quite elated! I had been wanting to make Totoros for quite a while, and this was the perfect excuse.
