Linda Reference Sheet [RETIRED CHARACTER]
THIS CHARACTER VERSION IS NO LONGER ACTIVE. PLEASE DO NOT DRAW HER. THANKS!
*Note: Linda actually no longer has anger fits, as it is mentioned on the image itself. I still need to edit the .psd file but until then just ignore that part!
About Occupation:
Linda lives and works on the tourist attraction-based planet Diabolus. She works in the Customer service department where she runs a help desk. Her tasks include answering phones and attending to guests who come for questions. Speaking a multitude of languages, she excels in her job by being able to communicate with a large variety of alien races. She directs people to specific areas and the like and, if she has time, can show them around herself. She can do other miscellaneous things as well like making maps, pamphlets, and flyers. Sometimes even solving the occasional complaint of children being stuck in ball pits or something.
Quirks:
Hugging/Cuddling - She won't hug everyone, especially not strangers, but anyone between acquaintance and friend are fair game. Her hugs are not typical couple second greetings, but more like clinging. She has little to no sense of personal space and will get in anyone's bubble without hesitation. She has no preference for gender, age, appearance, or species. If you're huggable she will hug you. If she is really comfortable with someone (again, no preference) she is also fond of cuddling. She finds it relaxing to just sit with someone and cling to them and chat. Her yearning to constantly touch people is quite questionable but she means nothing sexual or "lovey" about it. It is simply her way of showing affection towards those she likes. The only downside is she often is not aware when the people she is hugging are uncomfortable with it unless they outright say so. If someone tells her to stop or speaks up about it, she will immediately release them and feel pretty terrible about it.
Pet Names - Linda also is fond of giving her friends nicknames. Usually they are simple like adding a cutesy word to the end of a name (Martykins, Ennycakes, Harliebear, etc.) but occasionally she will find a name that suits someone that may not even have their name in it (such as calling her friend Charlotte "Little Lamb"). Once she nicknames someone she will rarely call them by their proper name. Usually if she does not call someone by their nickname it is when she is being serious. She also will spontaneously say random nicknames consisting of a mesh of words like "You're such a sillymuffinpuppy!" or "Sillygoose!"
Brief Bio:
Though born on the species' home planet, most of Linda's life was spent in a small, country town on another world devoid of other blacorite, save her parents. Linda adjusted fairly well at living amongst "organics" (a.k.a. non-robotics) but upon the death of her long-sick mother, things began to rapidly fall apart. Growing into a teenager taking care of her emotionally-wrecked father and returning to their blacorite home world, Linda struggled to adjust to living amongst her own kind. Through her teenage years she fell into a lot of promiscuous behavior that later lead to a lot of emotional problems that she still carries to present day. After a time she found herself unable to stay in one place for too long and constantly felt the need to move around and meet new people. She traveled from various cities, countries, and planets in her adulthood. The latest stop in her journey landed her at Diabolus, with a group of fellow blacorite that keep her more than entertained. She hopes to call Diabolus her permanent home, but she never openly states it.
Other:
-Even though she obviously can't eat them, Linda really loves Poptarts. Ever since she discovered them in an outer-planetary delicacy shop she has deemed them her favorite organic food. She enjoys them for their colors and unique smell. She also isn't biased to flavor.
-Even though she is an albino, she does not feel bad for herself or alternatively think herself as anything special. If anything she gets irritated at people who try to give her special treatment just because of her skin color and will take great offense by it. As well, as long as someone does not outwardly state their dislike for albinos to her face she doesn't really care what people think.
-Linda isn't very fond of other women. Since most of her friends (or "friends with benefits") were men throughout her teen years, she ended up growing more comfortable with them. She often explains that men are "more predictable" than her female counterparts with which she often despises for their vindictive and untrustworthy behavior. Despite being surrounded by men, she remains incredibly girly. She also does not see her male friends as being anything more than friends, and aside from a playful comment here and there just for giggles, she seeks nothing intimate with any of them.

THERE THERE IT'S K
I get asked that quite often so I'm used to it pfff
Baaaasssiicaallly, if I can explain this clearly, the species do not actually HAVE mouths. These "teeth" are basically metal-like panels lined up across their face in place of where a mouth WOULD be. The little lines that separate the "teeth" are slits called "vents" where they breath, smell, and eat from. Their diet is entirely liquid or fume-based as they do not have actual jaws or real teeth to insert or chew solid foods. The reason they have the ability to shift in their shape for expression (smiling and frowning) is because they supposedly have looser skin along the far end that overlaps it. This would realistically be more visible but it looks... frankly pretty stupid, so we kinda ignore that. :D
I'M NOT 100% on how they actually eat with them, though, or even how they talk cause the species' creator fluctuates it or otherwise has never released it. It has never been established what is actually INSIDE their snouts that enables all this to happen. I have a million of my own head-theories rolling around like mad though lol BUT that is essentially what's goin' on.
