This in an excerpt from the full story; hence why it's so small, here. Could use a general critique if you happen to have any. I'm just getting back into writing.

This is an excerpt from a scene I'm working on. Here, Miramel is getting ready to perform for an audience, as part of an agreement so the people she's with can get to talk with the king.

This is setting up for a scene inspired by the Opera house scene in Final Fantasy 6 (or 3, if you're in the U.S.)

I was finally inspired to continue my main story, and this is part of the result.
