Old comic, from when I first got PS7. Ro the Lion treats Cherry Blue to a demonstration of how artists can get carried away with textures.

All right,. I have to admit. This is just plain funny and amusing to look at simply because after reading it, I went to open Photoshop to play around with the textures. I won't lie. It was this picture that made me do so. It's because it's as if it's showing how utterly entertaining it is to play with Photoshop textures in general. Literally. There's skipping around being done, there's posing... and there's even stapling said texture onto other friend. (I'll admit, that made for a nice visual gag. I laughed. I did. :P)
Yet in the comic itself.. it's the facial expressions in it which happen to make it seem so vibrant. It's as if explaining the textures are there are what's the purpose, but doing so as vividly and comically as possible. (Which, ironically, is done while cycling through various textures, I happened to also have caught the backgrounds.)
This is entertaining. I believe this Sunday morning I needed this. It's entertaining~ :)
I will admit that, even now, years after I first drew it, the last panel still cracks me up, because it's just how I am when at my most playful, and I adore shocking poor, serious Cherry Blue that way. ;) Glad to have amused you!
Incidentally, you may be interested that I've been hired to work on an anthro webcomic, which will be launching in the next few days. I will be allowed to post a couple of teasers here and link to the comic site.
