"Over about 30 hours combined over several days has gone into her thus far. I'm rather frustrated and anxious, as I can't go any farther until I have her wooden base and supports finished. And with this midwestern "blizzard" that has pretty much blocked the barn doors where the wood and saws are, I cannot go any further for some time. VERY FRUSTRATING.

I was trying to go for a stalking/sneakign pose, hense the raised front foot and the outstretched neck. Some of her feet look a
-little- off as the 2nd phalanges were missing completely. So I had to replace them with extra 1st phalanges I had on hand. None of her claws are her original claws, I had to get them from another supplier. So they may look a little big for her. I love it all the same.

Sophia's tail is finished, and just waiting to be attached. Which I can't attach until she's resting neatly on her stand, I don't want to risk breaking it, so I will attach it as a last piece when the stand is done.

Yes. Its real. She wasn't killed for me, either. And she, like -all- my collection, is treated with the highest level of respect and adoration. She is a very much treasured piece of my collection, and has taught me so very much about canine anatomy."
