Ok, so one of the greatest challenges in my writing of the Ismenara series is that there are no common species between Ismenara and Earth except for HUMANS. The humans of this world are slightly different than ones on our Earth, though--hair and eye color is unlimited, different races have very distinct and unique markings on their skin (stripes, patchwork, combinations, and people of Svethosian descent have completely black skin), and people from the Salasian Islands have pointed canines, as well.

I digress.

ONE OF the biggest problems is I can't use generalized terms for "birds," and "fish," and things like that, so I sort of have to make them up.
Well, in Ismenara, every species has its own name, but generalizations are still needed. So this is a "Flier." Anything that takes to the skies. I need to revamp this creature, I was in a huge rush when I made it for my drawing final last year and it is supposed to be a creature of the Vitesta, but it doesn't really look like one.

Sorry I just felt like talking about Ismenara things. Mah!
