Pretty peppermint pink poka-dotted with M&Ms from the kitchens of

1/2 cup butter (softened at room temp)
1/2 cup Shortening
1 cup white Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
12 oz Dark Chocolate M+Ms candy
1 1/2 cups crushed candy canes or mint hard candy
cream the butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy. add the eggs and vanilla and blend well until smooth. add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix until well incorporated. add and mix candy in until well incorporated. Spoon onto cookie sheet by the teaspoonful. bake at 350 for 10-14 minutes or until golden around the edges. remove from oven and cool. then eat! NOMNOMNOMNOM
