Rarity: This jar is absolutely tacky!

Done at the request of a friend of mine. Rarity reacting to becoming a brain in a jar. The design for her jar is from my tumblr, although Rarity has never actually been a brain in a jar there (yet).

Rarity: Be that as it may! It doesn't change the fact that the limbs attaching my tool pods to my jar are undeniably clunky! And the lid could definitely do with some improvement!

Well, it IS only the Mark 1 . . . we'll add a tiara to the lid and make the mechahooves daintier in the Mark 2.

Well, the tiara would necessarily be for formal occasions, but we can also restrict it to a simple fillet - understated, yet very tasteful and sophisticated. Tres chic, you know.

Absolutely! Better still, we could duplicate your flowing mane and tail, but in fiber-optic strands so you can change the color almost at whim.

Rarity: Well, that rather puts a lot of pressure on me. Considering that this was a fairly time consuming procedure, I certainly couldn't afford to keep switching back and forth... Are you sure there's no way to keep my old body in stasis indefinitely?

The maximum for a one-time application of the spell is one year, but it can be continually refreshed, I suppose.

Rarity: Well, that at least gives me more time to ponder this decision. Do you know, Twilight came up with a rather clever idea for this? It doesn't stop her body from aging, but apparently, she had a replacement for her brain made to prevent it's untimely demise.
