This is so fun to do every year! Usually I see a transition from one way of doing things to a new and better way of doing things when I fill these out. Like last year, I began the transition from inked digital work to line-less digital work. In fact January's of this year is my last digital icon I did. This year I am observing more subtle changes, like playing with layer types, brush size, and different level of "finish". Just a LOTTA dang art, so it was hard to choose.

Thanks! I don't really do these to look at skill improvement, but I suppose a lot of people do. It's just neato to look back at what you've done over the months is all. =3 Mostly it's tough to gauge overall skill improvement with only seeing this puny crops of each piece.
I have seen this now for the third year and there is always at least one month i got, WAAAIT a min where did that art come from and spend the next 2 hours trying to find it only to realize it is probably a private commission or something. heheh
I so love your art. Thank you again, very much for sharing it with us.
