I've been feeling satisfied with my work lately. This worries me. I've grown too entrenched. I haven't branched out. I want to create worlds.

Well ... I haven't done that. This is referenced from a photograph. But it's training. Practice. The stuff you don't enjoy doing so that you can eventually do the stuff you DO enjoy.

I want to learn again.

This is fucking awesome. We need more landscapes in "furry" art.

Try doing a rain forest scene with a jaguar or maybe a savannah landscape with distant mountains and a lion/leopard...

Actually, I really like your background work! That picture of Drakester spaceport from a few months back is CRAZY detailed. That's the kind of thing I eventually want to do, but I just get so intimidated by detailing work.

So do I. I wanted to do a night version of it but found the prospect of it too daunting. That pic alone took me two months to get finished and several people working on the ideas side of things! >.< Now I know how the author of Wheres Wally feels!
