This is my first colored sketch on the new Cintiq my boyfriend got me for Christmas! <3
Ooh my god you guys, it's so nice to be able draw lines exactly where you want them. I think I'm going to be drawing a lot more, and a lot better. Woo! :D
Also, I know there are problems with this... It was a quickie before bed -- I spent extra time on some parts of the sketch and left others. I'm disappointed with the wimpy lats in this one, but am otherwise very happy with it! :D I'd say the first attempt at using my Cintiq was a success.

Draw lines exactly where you want them? Are you saying all this time some hidden unseen force has been applying random variables to the lines you draw? Well if that is the case I can't wait to see what you draw now.
As for the picture itself, it looks good. As you said yourself there are still flaws, but it's a quick sketch. You can't expect perfection in everything you draw, especially the stuff you do just to stay in practice... at least that's what I've heard. Can't wait to see more from you.
