The Hork Bajir, a species from K.A. Applegate's Animorphs, are a peaceful species, depsite their fearsome appearance. They're blades are not for fighting, but for cutting bark off the trees for them them to eat. The Hork Bajir were created by the Arn, who genetically engineered them so that they would take care of the planet. Though they are a 'sentient' race, they are somewhat lacking of intelligance, save for the occasional seer, and speaking to them is like talking to a child. The only differance between a male and female Hork Bajir is the males have 3 blades on their foreheads and the females have just 2.
